Rules and Regulation of the College
General Conduct
- Respect for Others: Students must show respect towards teachers, staff, and fellow students. Any form of disrespect, harassment, or bullying is strictly prohibited.
- Punctuality: Students must arrive on time for classes, exams, and other scheduled activities.
- Dress Code: Students must adhere to the college dress code, wearing appropriate and modest clothing.
- Property Respect: Students must respect college property and the personal belongings of others. Vandalism or theft will not be tolerated.
- Misbehavior Outside the Campus: Students are strictly prohibited from loitering or engaging in misbehavior outside the campus while in college uniform. Any violations may result in disciplinary action, depending on the severity of the offense.
Academic Discipline
- Attendance: A minimum of 90% attendance is required in each subject to be eligible for final exams. Absences must be justified with a valid reason.
- Students must attend all classes every day. Failing to do so will result in a fine of Rs. 100 (Rupees one hundred) per class. If a student is absent for any genuine reason, they may submit an application to the Principal of the college for a waiver of the absence fine.
- Assignment Submission: Assignments must be submitted on time. Late submissions may incur penalties unless prior approval is obtained from the teacher.
- Examination Conduct: Cheating or any form of malpractice during exams is strictly prohibited and will result in severe penalties.
Campus Behavior
- Cleanliness: Students are responsible for keeping the campus clean. Littering and spitting are prohibited.
- Noise Levels: Students should maintain low noise levels in and around classrooms, libraries, and study areas.
- Smoking, Alcohol, and Drugs: The use of tobacco, alcohol, and illegal drugs is strictly prohibited on campus.
- Electronic Devices: Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones into the classroom. In case of emergency, students may bring mobile phone but must submit it to the office before the commencement of class and retrieve it after the end of class.
Safety and Security
- Emergency Procedures: Students must familiarize themselves with and follow emergency procedures, such as fire drills and evacuation plans.
- Unauthorized Access: Students are not allowed in restricted areas without permission.
- Outsiders: Students must not bring unauthorized persons onto campus without prior approval.
Extracurricular Activities
- Participation: Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities, but must ensure it does not interfere with their academic responsibilities.
- Event Conduct: During college events and functions, students must conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the college’s reputation.
Disciplinary Actions
- Reporting Issues: Any breach of discipline should be reported to the college administration or the disciplinary committee.
- Consequences: Violation of rules may result in warnings, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity of the offense.
- Appeals: Students have the right to appeal against disciplinary actions by following the established procedures.
